For this reason, it is sometimes difficult to ascertain exactly where she was living at a given time. Also, for reasons of privacy, she sometimes lived at simultaneous addresses. The fourteen residences you will see on the tour were indeed lived in by Norma Jeane or Marilyn, and I am reasonably sure that the dates I give for each residence are accurate.

It is often hard to sort fact from fiction in the life of this double personality. In interviews Marilyn often distorted or embellished the events in her life. Sometimes she even made them up.
